Faculty Employment

Currently, there are no open searches for faculty positions in the Department of Mathematics Education. All open positions will be posted on the BYU Employment site, http://yjobs.byu.edu.

In general, an earned doctorate in mathematics education or a related field is required. Candidates will be evaluated on evidence of excellent teaching as well as potential to make significant research contributions. Strong mathematics background and public school teaching experience are highly desirable. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate mathematics and mathematics education classes including methods courses, teaching graduate classes in mathematics education, and supervising student teachers.
